X-MEN

Sorry for not posting the last 2 days, really didn't have much time.

Come to think of it, I also don't have much time now, but I'll try to post as much as I can.

Soooo... On Friday nothing much happened. The SMT part was super fun though. Got to fire the SAW, Matador, and SAR21-M203 GL. The best weapon so far would be the Matador, although the SAW was not bad as well. The Matador, being a simulator, had absolutely no recoil what so ever, which kind of limited its realism. Also, you could only shoot the tanks or the sir will scold you, so that kind of put a bar on the "fun" part as well. The SAW was quite fun also cos the fire rate was super. But there was a problem with the trigger which caused it to continue firing even after you released your finger. The SAR21-M203 GL was the worst. It was damn hard to aim the GL, and the rounds kept flying off course. Plus, the fake round looked like a... dildo. So it was kind of funny as well. The 2nd half of the day was spent at SDC and Army Museum. The Army Museum trail was kind of retarded, but the board game at SDC was quite fun. Spammed infantry to defend our base. Was damn unlucky also, kept throwing a "1". :/

AAWC was ok I guess. Had to waste time fixing my kite though, even before I started flying. Thanks to Joel for helping me get my kite into such pristine shape. The wedding after that was AWESOME. The food was...SHIOK. The dancers were great, and the speeches were quite entertaining, though emotional. But hey, what's a wedding without some tears right? Slept at the end part though, still kind of hungover from Spec Course.

Church practise today was kind of epic, cos land up I have to replace Richard for thurifer. Isaac let us bring home the thurifers to practise, although I won't have much time for it.

Went to watch X-Men with Si Ern, Si Yuan, Timo, and Joshua. I have to say, the movie certainly earned its' rave reviews. The film also managed to sneak in a little line or 2. Like poking at the US Military's "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy with gays in the army, as well as throwing George W Bush's (in)famous "If you're not with us, then by definition, you are against us" line, said menacingly by future Magneto. I feel compelled to add in that January Jones looked hoooot as Emma Frost. (Y) for hot telepaths. Feel like watching the original trilogy now haha.

So... it's late, and I still have to chiong to Woodlands for Space Academy.

Good Night
